535,368. Resilient mountings for machinery. METALASTIK, Ltd., and GOLDSCHMIDT, M. July 29, 1939, Nos. 628/41 and 629/41. Divided out of 535,332. [Class 80 (iv)] [Also in Group XXXII] A resilient mounting embodies rubber blocks 5, 6, bonded to opposed faces 11 ... 14 of flanges 7 ... 10 on members 1, 2. The various flanges are nested between one another and bolts 3, 4, are disposed at right angles to the flanges 7, 10, for securing the mounting to the machine parts. The flanges may be rectilinear, or curved as shown When a load is applied to the mounting in a direction normal to the flanges all the rubber blocks are either in compression or all are in tension.
