533,735. Locking nuts &c. FERRARIO, D. M. Nov. 17, 1939, No. 30299. Convention date, Nov. 28, 1938. [Class 89 (i)] Nuts are locked by a contained ring B keyed against relative rotation at d and having a thread discontinuous with that in the nut. The resultant axial movement on screwing up compresses an undulating or other resilient washer C. In a modification the ring and washer are fitted on the reduced end of the bolt. The projection d may be replaced by a spigot or pin or the exterior of the member B may be other than circular.
