Abstract
532,488. Steam turbines. BRITISH THOMSONHOUSTON CO., Ltd. Sept. 1, 1939, No. 25074. Convention date, Sept. 2, 1938. [Class 110 (iii)] In a turbine arrangement as described in Specification 488,055, the inter-stage conduit 11 is extended to form a compartment 27 and a pervious screen 34 is arranged.in front of the rear wall 30. Condensation water in the steam which is projected across the way to the low-pressure stage is caught behind a flange 33 and some passes through the screen. A low wall 35 near the screen confines the collected liquid.
