Abstract

530,956. Relaxation oscillators. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd. July 7, 1939, No. 19841. Convention date, July 7, 1938. [Class 40 (iii)] The effect of parasitic disturbances between regularly occurring synchronizing impulses of a television or other transmission is reduced by combining each impulse with an electrical echo of a previous impulse. The valve 3 separates synchronizing impulses from image signals and applies them over connection 4 to a line sweep circuit. An artificial line 1 terminated by an impedance 5 is connected across the anode impedance 2 and has a send and return transmission time approximately equal to the interval between synchronizing impulses.
