Abstract
1,188,294. Frequency sensitive switching circuits; television. TELEVISION INSTRUMENTS Ltd. 2 Aug., 1967 [23 Aug., 1966], No. 37759/66. Headings H3P, H3T and H4F. Selection of line time-base circuits operating at first and second frequencies (e.g. 405 and 625) is controlled by a valve or transistor having sync pulses applied to its grid or base and a circuit connected to its cathode or emitter tuned to one of the frequencies. The circuit is parallel tuned and produces degeneration at the tuned frequency so that only at the other does sufficient current flow to operate a relay selecting the time base circuits. Additional tuned circuits could effect switching between further frequencies.
