Abstract

530,934. Valves. MOTORAKTIESELSKAPET AV. 1935. July 6, 1939, No. 19731. Convention date, July 7, 1938. [Class 7 (vi)] In a rotary valve of the kind comprising a sleeve 6 rotating between the casing 4 and a central core 5, the core is cooled by arranging the inlet passage 8 along the centre thereof, and by means of cooling-ribs 12, the exhaust taking place through other ports 7, 10 in the valve and core. The core may be made of an aluminiumcopper alloy with about 15 per cent. aluminium. Specification 437,781 is referred to.
