[Class 110 (iii)] In gas turbine plants, the exhaust of the turbines driving the air compressors is used to pre-heat the air for the combustion chambers and inter-stage reheating is provided for these turbines. The turbines providing useful work have no interstage re-heating and their exhaust is not used for pre-heating.
