529,620. Compound compressors. MOTOSACOCHE SOC. ANON. June 5, 1939, No. 16442. Convention date, June 10, 1938. [Class 8 (i)] Air enters a compressor cylinder by a valve 12 in the head, and after compression passes by a passage 17 controlled by an annular lift valve 20 to tne annular space C wherein it is again compressed, passing out through a valve 22. The trunnion 23 of the piston is mounted in bushes in the piston skirt, beyond the second stage compression space C, which is defined by the packing rings 14, 15.
