528,431. Spring surfaces. EVEREST UPHOLSTERY Ltd., and LITTLEFAIR, J. H. May 8, 1939, No. 13641. [Class 52 (iv)] The ends of tension springs 17 of a seat fit into holes 18 in a rebated or recessed portion 23 of the front rail 10 and are held by a metal rod 20 passing through the end loops of the springs and along a groove 19. The anchorage of the springs is concealed by an angled or flat strip 22. The rear portion of the springs may pass completely through holes in the back rail and be held by a metal rod threaded through the terminal loops. Specification 509,470 is referred to.
