[Class 61 (iii)] A multiple screwdriver or wrench, more particularly applicable for fixing a twopart expansible fastening 25, 29 in a hole in a plate or plates 34, 35, Fig. 9, for example, for securing the plates together and where access may be had to one side of the plates only, comprises a blade 16 with a screwdriver point 17 or socket engaging portion secured against rotation at 15, 15a in a rod 13 fixed in a handle 11 and a sleeve 18 with handles 20 rotatable on the rod 13 and capable of longitudinal movement thereon limited by a set screw 21 engaging an annular recess 14 in the rod, said sleeve being fitted at the forward end with a part 23 having screwdriver points 24. In use the point 17 is engaged in a slot 27 at the solid end of the internally threaded part 25 of the fastening and the points 24 in slots on the flange 32 of the other part 29 of the fastening and the handles are relatively rotated causing the enlargement on the part 29 to enter and expand the plain portion of the part 25. In the modification shown in Fig. 4, the screwdriver &c. point 45 is' carried by a stem 42 secured against rotation but with limited sliding movement in the handle 36 by a screw 48 and the screwdriver points &c. 46 are on a sleeve 38 rotatably mounted in the handle by means of a screw 41 engaging an annular groove 40 in the sleeve ; the latter is driven by means of a ratchet lever 50.
