Abstract

528,067. Bridge cranes. KING, Ltd., G. W., and KING, D. M. April 26, 1939, No. 12542. [Class 78 (iv)] Two bridge cranes run on parallel tracks 10, each bridge carrying a pair of superposed trolley tracks 11, 13 which break joint as shown. By bringing the tracks into alignment, the trolleys 14, 15 can be run on to either bridge. The trolley 14 engaging the upper bridge is shaped to pass round and clear of the lower bridge 13, but in a modification the planes of the two bridges are displaced laterally.
