Abstract

527,156. Switch and like cases. BAKER, R. H,. and PARSONS, C. W. April 1, 1939. No. 10209. [Class 38 (v)] A switch or like box is made from three sheet metal parts. one being shaped to form the base b and two opposite sides a and the other two forming the ends c. The end pieces c have lugs e for the attachment of the switch &c. and lugs d which proceed at first parallel with the base b and are then bent over at right angles, these bent-over portions having projections f which are inserted through holes in the sides a and riveted over. The ends c also have projections g which pass through holes in the base. The base b may also have holes h for fixing screws, and the sides and base and ends may have holes i provided with easily-detachable closure pieces j for the reception of cables.
