526,853. Cellulose derivative compositions. INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION. March 27, 1939, No. 9519. Convention date, April 7, 1938. [Class 2 (ii)] A textile marking composition comprises a lacquer containing a pigment resistant to washing and dry cleaning agents, a plasticizer, nitrocellulose and ethyl cellulose, the ratio of nitrocellulose to ethyl cellulose being between 1 to 3 and 3 to 2. The plasticizer may be dibutyl phthalate, tricresyl phosphate, toluene sulphonamide, glycol succinate, methyl abietate, or an alkyd resin. The pigment may be chrome yellow, permanent red, phthalocyanin blue, brilliant green, or iron oxide brown. In an example the composition comprises brilliant green, nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose, gelled castor oil, dimethyl cyclohexanyl adipate (Sipalin A.O.M.), butyl acetate, butanol, toluene, ethyl acetate, and petrobenzol.
