Abstract

526,210. Boots &c. SOCHOR, H. March 10, 1939, No. 7812. [Class 17 (ii)] A foot arch support is formed with a U-shaped marginal frame 3 of steel or light-malleable metal or alloy secured to the body 2 of the support so that its limbs extend forwardly to about the front end of the metatarsal bones of the foot. The frame prevents sapping and lifting at the heel. A pad 1 is inserted between the front forks of the frame which is covered with leather. The free end 5 of the frame is connected by at least one bridge 6. A textile insertion may be provided between the shanks 3.
