Abstract

524,632. Printing processes. DUNLOP RUBBER CO., Ltd., and GILLAN, F. Feb. 2, 1939, No. 3503. [Class 100 (ii)] Sheet rubber, prior to being printed upon by any ordinary printing method, is secured by adhesive, e.g., size, to a backing of paper or fabric which has little or no stretch. The rubber surface to be attached to the backing may be previously coated with a solvent for the adhesive. After printing, the rubber is stripped from the backing.
