Abstract
142,968. Catt, S. G. Oct. 6, 1919. Signs. - A luminous sign is formed by imposing the character b by means of a transfer on a sheet of material such as mica, and applying a band d of luminous paint within the outline only of the character, the rest of the background c being coloured. The sheet is then covered with adhesive, and a sheet of mica, glass, or celluloid pressed on so as to form an air-tight structure. With glass or celluloid, paper may be applied to the edges of the two sheets instead of adhesive between. The sign may be secured in a frame e by a resilient backing.
