370,484. O r n a m e n t i n g mirrors. BEECH, E. J., BEECH, R. A., and BEECH, E. A., (trading as BEECH & SONS, T.), 23, North Road, Preston. Jan. 3, 1931, No. 252. [Class 93.] Ornamental mirrors are made by affixing coloured and ornamental materials, such as paper, celluloid, or rubber having an inherent design incorporated during manufacture, to the back of a sheet of silvered glass or to a woodmetal, &c. backing therefor, the silvering being removed previously, but not to any exact outline, to expose the material ; alternatively, the glass may be silvered after applying the material. In the case of celluloid, strips may be fixed to clear glass by means of shellac varnish prior to silvering, heat and pressure being applied to fix the strips. Specification 15303/84, [Class 56, Glass], is referred to.
