[Class 61 (ii)] A combined hammer and mallet comprises a hollow head A formed on one side with a small projecting part A<SP>1</SP> tipped with a hammer portion A<SP>2</SP> and on the other side with a box portion adapted to receive a wooden &c. mallet member B having a projection B<SP>1</SP> extending between interior projections A<SP>3</SP> on the head and engaging a recess H<SP>1</SP> in the handle H. The handle may be further cut away at H<SP>2</SP> to receive bifurcated projections on the mallet portion.
