522,773. Earth scrapers. RUSTON-BUCYRUS, Ltd. March 3, 1939. Nos. 7002 and 7003. Convention dates, March 7, 1938, and Feb. 13, 1939. [Class 68 (i)] In an earth scraper with an earth-carrying front apron 19 above and forward of the digging bowl 13 when the latter is in digging position, the scraper blade 14 is formed of a long narrow plate curved or bent about offset longitudinal transverse axes so as to direct the earth substantially vertically upwardly and centrally. The lower forward corners of the blade may be sheared off.
