548,001. Trenching ploughs. McLAREN, Ltd., J. & H., BARBER, J. A., and ROSKILLY, W. W. Oct. 22, 1941. No. 13567. Addition to 547,845. [Class 6 (i)] In a hinged-frame trench. ing plough as in the parent Specification, breakage of the sides of the trench is avoided by fitting between the lower and upper mouldboards, inverted L-shaped plates 34 projecting forwardly and downwardly into the trench. The vertical arm of each plate fits closely against the trench wall and is secured to the lower mould board 21. The horizontal arm overlies the adjacent soil and is inclined slightly upwards towards the rear where it is secured to the upper mouldboard. The leading edges are tapered.
