Abstract
521,562. Bottle holders. WHEELER, H. C. Nov. 18, 1938, No..33603. [Class 116] A holder for bottles and like containers comprises a supporting frame 14 and a rotatable holder 20, connected to the frame 14 by pins 21, which receives the container B and is adapted to be swung into the vertical inverted position shown in Fig, 1 to permit dispensing of the contents of the container, the holder being provided with clamping arms 36 which engage the neck of the container. As shown in Fig. 4, the arms 36 are pivotaLly mounted on a cross-piece 24 of the holder, and one of them carries a pivoted fastener 40 for retaining the arms in their clamping position. When the container is in the inverted position, the arms 36 rest upon a cross-bar 17 of the main supporting frame. The portion of the holder 20 with which the base of the container engages is provided with a handle 30. A spring catch 32 mounted on the frame 14 retains the holder in its upright inverted position.
