[Class 100 (ii)] A stamp inking pad comprises a block a of hard rubber, artificial resin &c. bearing a ribbon the lower stretch f of which is in contact with an' impregnated pad d and supplies ink to the upper stretch h by capillary action. The ribbon is attached at one end to a fixed wire k and at the other end to a spring-pressed cranked bar m pivoted in the block a. In a modification the ribbon is endless and held against the surface of the block by a spring bar similar to bar m.
