[Class 37] [Also in Groups XXXVII, XXXIX and XL], A piezo-electric vibrator is used as a polarity indicator, the application of an E.M.F. in one direction operating the vibrator and a galvanometer, by closing contacts and short-circuiting the plates, while with reversed connection the element is deflected permanently away from the fixed contact. Specification 501,691, [Group XXXVII], is referred to.
