Abstract
519,991. Two-part couplings; batteries. WOOLDRIDGE, H. Oct. 10, 1938, No. 29260. [Classes 38 (i) and 53] Contacts for a battery charging stand consist of channel shaped members 1 of such a width that the sides of the channel fit against the battery terminals which are slid in from one end and abut against a closure 1a at the other end. A slot 6 in the channel receives a resilient blade 7 to press upon the battery terminal, the member 1 being inclined downwardly towards its closed end la. Two contacts 1 may be formed on a metal plate 2 that serves to connect adjacent cells in series or separate contacts may be employed.
