Cells; connections. - A battery of the kind comprising a number of moulded cells 1 is provided with zinc electrodes 3 of U-shape, one limb 5 of each electrode being longer than the other and projecting from the cell so that it can be bent over to engage the positive electrode 4 of the adjacent cell. The cells may be made of a resinous condensation product or of bitumen with a filler.
