519,447. Closures for jars &c. ADAMEK, A. Sept. 23, 1938, No. 27784. [Class 125 (iii)] To impart a certain flexibility to a sheetmetal closure cap to be affixed to a container by means of screw threads or screw bayonets, -there are provided in the cup 5 perforations such as elongated slots 7 situated between the screwing means 2 and the sealing surface 6. The slots may be in the flange of the cap or in its marginal upper surface.
