501,925. Containers for cosmetics &c. FARRER, J. O. Sept. 8, 1937, No. 24525. [Class 66] A container for cosmetics &c. comprises a cylindrical inner part 5, formed from a single piece of aluminium &c. spaced within a body part 1 which may be formed from sheet metal, moulded plastic, or other suitable material, the space between the parts being either left empty or filled with insulating material. The top edge of the part 5 is seamed at 7a to a collar 7 from the lower edge of which a shoulder 8 projects outwardly, the shoulder either leading to a flange 9 adapted to engage externally the rim of the body part or being formed integral therewith. The collar co-operates with a threaded or other closure 10 provided with a packing 10a engaged by the seam 7a. The body part 1 may be of oval, rectangular, polygonal, or other sectional form.
