Abstract
519,011. Valve generating circuits. RADIOAKT.-GES. D. S. LOEWE. June 7, 1938, No. 16871. Convention date, June 10, 1937. [Class 40 (v)] To enable the non linear region of a valve.to be used for amplifying saw-tooth oscillations, a tuned choke is included in the anode circuit. The choke 7 has a natural period approximating the frequency of the abrupt stroke of the oscillations and may be shunted by a variable resistance 7a. If the invention is applied to a circuit for wide angle deflection of the type described in Specification 521,637, the phase of the primary potential in auxiliary transformer 12 must be advanced in relation to the phase of the anode current of valve 2 and this is effected by the provision of condenser 14. The amount of the auxiliary potential is adjusted by resistance 15 which is bridged by choke 16 having a low natural frequency.
