Abstract
518,899. Suspending curtains. POWELL, A. Sept. 8, 1938, No..26248. [Class 52 (v)] ] A support for rails for valances curtains, or the like of the kind in which two members are pivoted together so as to be clamped to a supporting I-beam or the like is characterised within that the valance rail when in position prevents pivotal movement of the bracket member a to open the clamping jaws.. Also an upturned stop q on one member engages the recessed edge of the other hook member h and a holder comprising a projection n engages a recess on the hook member to retain the cam in clamped position. The hook may be a pair of lugs h<1> bent from the member e<1>, Fig. 5, and an apertured lug or box-shaped end r may be provided to engage an additional support.
