Abstract

516,552. Curtain-rail &c. brackets. POWELL, N. June 30, 1938, No. 19463. [Class 52 (v)] ] A bracket for curtain and valance rails comprises two co-acting rail-flange-engaging members 6, 12 the member 12 being rockable in a slot 10 in the other member 6 and caused to engage the rail flange by means of 'a slide 14 bearing on the tail piece of the member 12. The bracket comprises a box-like, portion 3 having apertures 4, 5 to facilitate securement to a wall surface &c. Fig. 4 shows a valance bracket 24 which acts as the slide for operating the flange engaging members 30, 34.
