428,736. Curtain rails. JOHNSTON, A., Henderson House, Bridge of Allan, Stirling- shire. June 7, 1934, Nos. 16897 and 31338. [Class 52 (v)] [See also Group XXX] Telescopic curtain rails of the type having base flanges tracked by rollers comprise a pair of parallel rails 1, 4 disposed side by side, with the base flanges 2, 5 spaced apart so as to avoid interference between the rollers tracking the respective flanges and allow the curtains to overlap. One rail 1 is provided with a lateral tongue 3 engaging a bifurcated part 6, 6<1> of the other rail 4, the limb 6<1> having a downturned flange 8. The rails may be slid endwise relatively to each other. The tongue 3 may be extended to the other side of the rail 1 and the part 6<1> correspondingly shaped.
