Abstract
518,693. Fastenings. PUC, V. Sept. 2, 1938. No. 25787. Convention date, Sept. 2, 1937. [Class 44] In a press button having a socket in which an annular spring is retained by a cover, the socket 1 and cover 2 have radial embossed ribs 3, 4 on which the spring 5 slides during operation of the fastening to reduce the friction. The spring has annular rigs 6, 6<1> on its upper and lower surfaces. The ribs 3 are inclined towards the mouth of the socket and merge into axial ribs 9 in the cylindrical part 8. Foreign matter present in the socket is swept from the ribs 3, 4 by the movement of the spring and accumulates in the spaces between the ribs.
