[A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Nov. 12, 1938.] [Class 120 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXII and XXXIV] Drawing-rollers for spinning-machines have their shaft portions made of porous cast iron or steel a. The centre part is of solid metal b and the three parts are welded together, the porous metal is charged with lubricant and the ends are varnished or lacquered to prevent oil leakage. The rollers c are on the parts a. The central portion may consist of a bush b<1>, Fig. 4, of solid metal having a core a<2> of porous metal in the piece with the porous ends a. Specification 511,755 is referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also the subject-matter of Specification 514,720. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
