Abstract
518,005. Bookbinding. NIGHTALL, A. D., and DIEMER & REYNOLDS, Ltd. Aug, 30, 1938, No. 25394. [Class 16] A binder for pamphlets and the' like comprises an outer cover a hinged at the centre to provide a flat a<1>, where adhesive material, as one broad strip b or two narrow strips, is attached at b, b<1> by stitching or adhesive to the flat a<1>, so as to leave two margins b<2> extending from top to bottom of the binder. The margins are moistened, the pamphlet x inserted and the margins pressed along the outside cover of the pamphlet. Two adhesive strips c, shorter than b, and secured to the binder only at their ends c<1> are then inserted into the inner fold of the pamphlet at the centre or elsewhere, from above or below. The strip or strips b, b<2> may be secured to the folder and then adhered to the cover.
