[Class 137] [Also in Group XI] An electrically driven vehicle is provided with heating apparatus comprising a casing a with a portion of restricted cross-section in which is or are located one or more electric heating elements e supplied with current from the source by which the vehicle is driven and comprising a resistance wire embedded in refractory material enclosed in a metal sheath. A fan g in the casing draws air therethrough and delivers it to the interior of the vehicle through a grille j or through air ducts to remote points. The heating element may be thermostatically controlled. The apparatus may be mounted on a bulkhead or seat or may be mounted on the chassis and provided with thermostatically controlled dampers in the outlet ducts.
