[Class 135] [Also in Group XI] An installation for the distant control of gas burner valves of the kind in which automatic pressure controlled burner valves 4 arranged adjacent each burner are controlled by a control valve 3 situated at a remote point in the service pipe has a pressure regulating valve 11 arranged in a bye-pass passage across the control valve so as to maintain a substantially constant predetermined pressure in the service pipe between the valve and burner controller. Each burner is fitted with a non-continuously burning bye-pass burner provided with automatic igniting means as for example that described in Specification 443,927.
