Abstract
511,606. Axminster loom tufting carriages. ROBINSON, J. E. Feb. 24, 1938, No. 5847. [Class 142 (ii)] The front face of the tube supporting bar 10 is formed with, or carries, a longitudinal rib 13 of inverted section whose free edge overhangs the mouths of the yarn tubes 14 and guides the yarns away from sharp edges. A metal tube, Fig. 6, may be used or a wooden bar 10, Fig. 4, with an attached angle section metal strip 20. An auxiliary tube support 22 may be used. The strip 20, or the surface 24, Fig. 6, may be perforated to facilitate soldering of the tubes.
