Abstract

472,914. Threading Axminster loom tube frames. DUTFIELD, J. H. April 3, 1936, No. 9837. [Classes 142 (iii) and 142 (iv)] The tuft yarns from the spool are separated by being gripped in the elongated grooves 3 of a holder comprising two broad - faced shallow bars &c. 1, 2 provided with corrugated members on one or both faces. The grooves coincide with the tuft frame tuft tubes, the threading of which is thus facilitated. The ridges on one member may engage the grooves in the other, or as shown, the grooves may be coincident, or one bar may have a flat surface.
