Abstract
372,061. Yarn grippers for pile fabric looms. GREENWOOD & SONS, Ltd., F., Trafalgar Street, and WRIGLEY, H., 2, Reservoir Street, Belfield, both in Rochdale. April 7, 1931, No. 10166. [Class 142 (ii).] Grippers for yarn used in carpet looms, especially for inserting the pile tufts in Axminster looms, comprise two parts G, G<1> held together by a fixed largeheaded rivet B, around which a ring-like fitting A on the part G<1> having tapered inner edges A<1> operates within the usual recess R in the part G. The rivet head tapers at B<1> to fit the tapered edges A<1> and fits in an aperture R<1> on the part G.
