Abstract
509,182. Injectors. GRUNTA, M. May 5, 1938, No. 13490. [Class 71] In a mixing injector the water nozzle 1 has a mixing nozzle 2 connected thereto. A suction chamber 3 is arranged around the mouth of the water nozzle. A plug 4, housed transversely in the body 1, has two through-way openings, one 5 for water, and one 6 for decontaminating liquid connected to a supply chamber, and to chamber 3. The plug 4 can be turned to cut off the decontaminating liquid without affecting the water supply. In a modification, lift valves are arranged on a common spindle to control the water and decontaminating liquid. The valve of the latter is loose on the spindle and is moved from its seat by a head on the spindle against spring resistance.
