[Class 135] A liquid-pressure reducing device for connection to a supply pipe comprises an interchangeable choke b inserted in a union a. The outlet part of the union is shaped to' provide a chamber c in which is mounted a hollow plug d to form an annular region of gradually diminishing cross-section. A series of radial orifices e in the plug connect the smaller end of the annular region with the outlet pipe f. The plug has a securing flange clamped by bolts k between a flange i on the union and a flange h secured to the outlet pipe f. The outlet pipe may be fitted with a relief valve l.
