[Class 22] [Also in Group III] Mineral materials, such as stone chippings or large stones, are coated with a thin layer of pigment, if desired with the aid of a liquid such as water or oil, which is fixed on the material by an aqueous dispersion of a bituminous substance such as bitumen or tar, which gels or dries to an insoluble film. The coloured material may be used for covering roads, floors, roofs and the like, for roof and wall coverings, for covering roof paper, and as an aggregate for coloured concrete.
