506,251. Door-stops. RAMSEY, A. R. J. (Detroit Harvester Co.) Dec. 8, 1938, No. 35834. [Class 66 (i)] A stop for vehicle &c. doors 15 comprises a rigid member 24 pivoted to the pillar 12 and projecting into a space 23 in the door. When the door is open as in Fig. 3, one side of the stop abuts on the pillar, the other side on a buffer 34 on the door, so that further opening of the door is resisted by a shearing stress in the stop.
