[Class 56] Relates to the method of increasing the resistance of glass, glazes, or enamels to chemical attack by incorporating water vapour in the glass while in the molten state, as described in the parent Specification. According to the present invention, the glass may be cooled or worked-up in the usual way, the presence of a large amount of water vapour in the atmosphere about the glass being unnecessary.
