[Class 18] In a drawer and shell box, the shell, open at one end, has its sides cut away whereby the drawer can be moved to abut against stops on the shell, in which position the hinged lid can be opened ; resilient means may be provided for opening the lid. The shell is made from a blank 1, Fig. 7, folded on the lines e and the parts b, 1a, 1c, 1b overlapped, the parts 1a, 1b having extensions 3 which are folded down to form stops. The drawer blank is provided with flaps i, i<1>, h, h<1>, Fig. 8, and with a top extension 5 forming the lid. The blank is similarly folded and the flaps h, i are slightly longer than the flaps h<1>, i<1>, so that the stops engage the inner flaps, as shown, in Fig. 4. Fig. 1 shows the assembled box, the drawer 4 being exposed by the cut-away parts 2 of the shell. The lid may be in two parts, on the front and rear of the shell respectively, and may be a separate part affixed to the shell the upper edge of which is then curled to press the lid open when the drawer projects from the shell.
