[Class 114] A screw-propeller blade 14 is provided with a resilient chafmg strip 79, preferably a laminated phenolic condensation product, which passes over the fillet on the bladeroot and supports the inner race of the thrust bearing 75 whilst at its outer end it bears against a packing ring 72.
