504,423. Aircraft - floats. DORNIERWERKE GES., and DORNIER, C. May 26, 1938, No. 15748. Convention date, June 10, 1937. [Class 113 (ii)] [Also in Group V] Structural members suitable for use in the construction of floats of aircraft consist of an inner core of sponge rubber or the like, with outer layers of hardened rubber, the outer layers being connected together by pillars or ribs of the same material. The outer layers 5, 8, which may be reinforced by fabric inserts 6, are connected by pillars or ribs 9. The rigidity may be increased by inwardly projecting ribs 7.
