[Class 37] [Also in Groups XXXIV and XXXV] In variable elements of high-frequency, electric circuits the rotor spindle is of ceramic material and is mounted in a ball bearing of which both the fixed parts and the balls are of ceramic material. In the example shown, a condenser or variometer rotor 1a with coned ends 1b, is mounted on ceramic balls 2 running at one end in a race formed by a bore in the casing 3 and at the other in a race 4, flexibly upported by a disc 5 of glass &c.
