502,577. Film - type heaters and coolers ; seamed sheet-metal joints. JONES, H. L., and JONES, E. L. Oct. 19, 1937, No. 28382. [Class 64 (iii)] [Also in Group XXII] In a liquid heater or cooler of the kind in which the liquid flows in a film over superposed tubes secured to end headers, the sheet-metal tubes are formed with longitudinal seamed joints, as shown in Figs. 1 to 6, which serve to space the tubes. The spaces between the tubes may be filled with solder 18, Fig. 8.
