Abstract

502,113. Lubricating-pumps. PIL. LIN, J. B. Sept. 15, 1937, No. 25087. [Class 102 (i)] [Also in Group XVIII] In lubricating-apparatus comprising a pump 3 operated by a fluid-pressure motor 4, the pump is supplied from a commercial bulk container 18, carried by a holder which is adapted to accommodate containers of various sizes. The holder comprises an adapter 9, having a spigot which engages an elbow 7 leading to the pump, and held by spring clips 11. The open mouth of the container 18 engages a packing- ring 10 in a groove in the adapter, against which it is held by spring clips 13, adapted to engage holes 15, 16 or 17 in depending parts of a cap 14. The container is enclosed in a casing 22, held by studs 23. The apparatus may be mounted on wheels 2.
